Miss you, Ryan
At the start of January 2026, I celebrated new year with my friends, with a potluck party where everyone brings one dish / food to share with others.
We ate, talked, and played some games, really cozy vibes.
And fast forward to mid of January, suddenly we received news of one of the friend (Ryan) passed away, obituary photo of him (along with funeral ceremony date and venue) was posted on our private discord server.
At first we thought it might be a lame joke, or a mistake, but later his elder sister posted the obituary details on his Facebook profile, then it hit us it actually happened. Some friends just reached other states for trip, and upon receiving the news, they bought train and plane ticket back on the very next day morning. (The funeral ceremony is the next day, until night time)
I personally don't like playing board games, but now I regret not spending the time to play board game when we had the chance, I am sorry Ryan.
We miss you, Ryan.
